How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.

This project will contribute to the long-term development of amateur basketball in Canada by increasing access to organized sport opportunities for youth from diverse and underserved communities.

By reducing financial barriers, the initiative allows more athletes to participate in competitive and developmental basketball programs that promote skill development, physical wellness, teamwork, and leadership.

The project will support athlete progression pathways from grassroots participation to elite competition while strengthening community engagement in amateur sport. Through mentorship, coaching development, and inclusive programming, Top Tier Basketball aims to create sustainable opportunities that positively impact the growth of basketball nationally.
