Embracing Ability Development Fund
Project Description
The Burlington Soccer Club's Embracing Ability Program is designed to provide children and youth with developmental and/or physical disabilities the opportunity to participate in soccer within a safe, supportive, and fully inclusive environment. At the heart of the program is a simple but meaningful goal: to create a space where every athlete can have fun, feel supported, and thrive both on and off the field.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
1) Outreach programs
2) Upgraded equipment
3) Coaches training
4) Volunteer training
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
The Embracing Ability Program supports the growth of amateur sport in Canada by advancing an inclusive, adaptable model that can be shared and replicated by other clubs and communities. Through workshops, partnerships, and knowledge-sharing, Burlington Soccer Club helps build capacity for inclusive programming at a national level.
