Memorial and Development fund
Project Description
This is a dedicated initiative established to both honour the legacy of past members and support the ongoing growth of the club. The fund provides a meaningful way for alumni, families, and supporters to make general donations in memory of those who have passed, ensuring their contributions to the club are recognized and remembered.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
- Cover registration costs for players experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage
- Purchasing rugby balls for elementary schools visited by the club's rugby development officer
- Purchase general equipment such as shields, tackle suits, balls, etc., to support play development
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
The Barrie Rugby Football Club has a proven track record of developing athletes who have progressed to the national stage, demonstrating the strength of its coaching, culture, and competitive environment. Several players have successfully advanced through provincial systems and into national-level programs under Rugby Canada.
