Fire Recovery Fund
Project Description
On the morning of April 24, 2025, we suffered a significant fire throughout our facility. Extensive damage was caused to the kitchen, lounge and bar areas. Smoke, water and heat damage extended into the ice shed and locker rooms.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Donations to this project will be used to fund changes and/or improvements made to the club during the restoration process, as well as any shortfall in the replacement cost of club contents not covered by the insurance policy.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
Carleton Heights Curling Club is a community-based club that welcomes curlers of all ages and abilities. We provide many high-level curling opportunities to members and other users through league play. In addition, we conduct popular Youth programs that emphasize fun and a lifelong love for the game. Further, the club hosts many tournaments that attract curlers from the Ottawa area and beyond.
