How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.

Our organization has been recognized by Football Ontario as a leading-edge program that focuses on player development and safety. Our program experience and expertise have been shared many times through various platforms with numerous communities across the province.

The Kingston Grenadiers provides our communities and their residents with an excellent amateur football experience. In addition to learning, playing and enjoying football, emphasis is placed on sportsmanship, self-discipline, teamwork, academic achievement and community involvement. Our goal is to provide a positive and safe experience for every athlete and to promote fair play and sportsmanship by providing a program emphasizing enhancement of discipline, good character and citizenship.  We have a long history of developing players to represent Ontario at a national level, as well as a pathway creating opportunities to identify athletes for the next level of play.

This project is to help grow and develop the programs offered to youth football for our community by keeping the registration fees affordable to allow equal opportunity to all players. It will help us provide stable, safe, well equipped and coached programs to develop players to their potential so they can become eventually ambassadors of the sport.
