Project Description
ParaGolf Ontario provides opportunities and assistance for amputees and other persons with physical challenges in Ontario to participate in golf and other physical activities to the level of their interest and capability. The association also develops public awareness of sport for amputees and other physically challenged individuals within the province of Ontario.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
ParaGolf Ontario will use the proceeds to assist amputees and other persons with physical challenges in Ontario to participate in golf to the level of their interest and capability. ParaGolf Ontario will provide the opportunity to participate in leisure, fitness, and/or competitions and provide the training and any training and specialized/adaptive equipment to learn and to play golf in a safe, non-judgmental and safe environment.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
ParaGolf Ontario develops public awareness of golf for amputees and other challenged individuals in Ontario and develops liaisons with other groups who are involved with sports for challenged individuals at the local, regional, provincial, national and international levels. ParaGolf Ontario will assist in providing specialized training and adaptive equipment for the purpose of playing golf in Ontario.
