Project Description
As a result of COVID-19, The RCMP Ottawa Curling Club has already lost over $100,000 in proceeds from the current season. Like most sports clubs, our revenue relies largely on membership fees. We cannot replace the income already lost. An appeal to members and supporters is necessary to ensure the club remains solvent.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
To provide competitive and recreational curling programs to the Ottawa region and any others who may choose to join our club.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
The club provides curling programs for ages 7 and up as well as adult learn to curl instruction. Athletes are developed to compete at the National and International levels if they choose to pursue these goals.
