FHO Development Fund
Project Description
Field Hockey Ontario (FHO) is looking to create a source of funds over the next few years that will provide opportunities to enable young people from families without financial means to participate in the sport and community of Field Hockey. This type of funding includes further development of the sport on a grassroot level and helps provide positive experiences and opportunities to all within FHO.
FHO's goal of the Development Fund is to enhance the development of sport participation and grow the field hockey community across Ontario. By donating to this fund, you will help open doors to young athletes, coaches and umpires without financial backing to participate in the sport of Field Hockey in an organized capacity.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Contributions will enable young athletes without financial backing to play the sport of field hockey in an organized capacity.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
This project will enable amateur athletes that would not necessarily have the opportunity to participate in sport to do so. This in itself is constitutes the further development of sport on a grassroots level because there are a greater number of people participating within Canada.
