Project Description
The required purchase of new condenser and chiller to replace the curling club's aging equipment. Included in this project are Infrastructure repairs, such as roofing repairs that are required to the aging building and the installation of the new equipment.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
As our club is now 25 years old the infrastructure is showing its age. The money raised will be used to replace expensive pieces of equipment including the items listed.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
The Carleton Place Curling club members attend many Ontario Curling Council events at the regional and provincial level. It is important to have a top notch facility for these curlers to improve their skills to be able to compete and win a spot in a national competition.
