Rock Climbing

If you want a great full body workout, rock climbing is for you. In some settings it can take some specialized equipment to do safely but can be enjoyed both outdoors and indoors. Although your climbing routes may be short, it will require some nerve when it comes to dealing with heights. It also requires patience, since completing routes particularly higher-level climbs require several tries, a steel grip and exceptional body weight control.

Equipment Needed: Harness, ropes, climbing shoes, chalk (available at most rock-climbing gyms).

Family Friendly: The whole family can enjoy rock climbing together with different difficulty levels available at most rock-climbing gyms.

High Intensity: You will be using your full body for rock climbing, especially grip strength.

Solo: With auto-belay systems at most rock climbing gyms, you can safely climb without a partner.
