Project Description
The Community First Curling Centre, home of the Soo Curlers Association has lost membership over the past year. Firstly, this project will enable the club to recover from the setback and decline in membership over the past year. Secondly this project will enable renewal of the appearances of the club and allow additional activities in the club.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Promote the Community First Curling Centre within the local community to increase membership. Provide a face lift to the club in terms of painting, repairs, new carpets, deep cleaning, and renovations.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
By improving the overall experience for curlers and increasing membership at the local level, the number and quality of curlers who choose to compete with go up.
