2021 Operating and Capital Fund
To support the Club's operating and capital expenditures during the 2020/2021 shutdown due to COVID-19.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Like most curling clubs we are in a financial struggle during the COVID-19 crisis and have decided on not reopening for the 2020/2021 curling season. We are also in an unfortunate situation of having over $350,000 in necessary capital projects that need to be done with no revenue. These funds will be used to support the following projects, but may include other capital projects that emerge due to exploratory work and planning:
- Fixed and operating expenses - $30,000
- HVAC retrofit - $125,000
- Roof repairs/replacement - $200,000

High Park Club is the centre of amateur curling in the City of Toronto. Not only do we have a vibrant little rocks and junior program, we also host a number of events for developing youth teams, amatuer athletes and Ontario & Canada's top-ranked teams. We are a strong supporter of amateur curling through our bonspiel program, a great membership, and our overall involvement in the GTA and Ontario curling community.
